Infrastructure Engineer - Server upgrade - Financial Services
Our client, an Investment Management firm based in Central London is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis. You would join an in-flight server upgrade/migration with c.150 Win 2012 Servers due to be upgraded to Win 2016. The main responsibilities will include resolving migrations, connection, and authentication issues.
The ideal candidate will also have experience and be comfortable engaging with the different IT and Business teams and have the capability to work autonomously.
Experience Required:
- Windows server upgrade experience (ideally 2016)
- Knowledge of CIS Windows server security controls
- PowerShell Scripting skills
- VSphere/VCenter
- SQL server
- Ivanti/Shavlik
- Qualys
- Knowledge of DSC hardening standards
- Experience within Financial Services is crucial
