Description
We are heading up a project on behalf of a Global Consultancy who are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join their team on a major government project that is based fully remotely.
* IR35 - Currently out of scope but will be in scope from April 2021.*
The Sales Operations Analyst will provide the following service offerings on the HMRC Market Unit:
- Be aligned to Client focus Group Relationship Managers and support the opportunity life cycle in reviewing and influencing decision making.
- Work closely with Sales Operations Lead and the Finance team to ensure a smooth month-end close with all variances and trends explained.
- Provide an accurate and timely view of client demand to the Delivery Unit, Finance and Revenue groups, for monthly forecasting, budgeting and Account Planning.
- Support the Sales Operations Lead and Head of Sales Operations to leverage the full benefit of the Salesforce tool and analysis of current pipeline.
- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders and their teams
- Ensuring we are Audit ready and compliant in all processes.
- Work closely with all areas of the unit to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardisation across the I&T HMRC Market Unit.
Tasks
- Maintenance and governance of HMRC MU pipeline within THOR (Salesforce CRM)
- Analysis and provide insight on sales pipeline, sales performance, and making operational recommendations based upon these insights to our senior stakeholders.
- Support the Sales Operations Lead and Head of Sales Operations to leverage the full benefit of the Salesforce tool and analysis of current pipeline.
- Ensure, as a member of Sales Operations, that you are continuously improving your skill set to add value to the team and I&T as a whole.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Competent user of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook with a strong to advanced skill in Excel.
- Strong business acumen and experience of providing key MI information to support the business
- Confident communication skills and energy to work in a fast paced and complex environment
- A passion for change and proactively encouraging new ideas
- Have experience of THOR/Salesforce or CRM software for reporting purposes would be desirable.
- Experience of Power BI would be advantageous
