Solution Architect eCommerce CMS/applications/Middleware Digital. Outside IR35
This global business requires a Solution Architect with experience of working on large scale E-commerce projects. Experience of Front End integration, CMS/applications/Middleware is required.
The ideal candidate shall have experience in working in complex websites (combination of CMS/applications/Middleware) - desirable with retail/E-commerce industry. In addition he/she shall have experience in integrating Feature Apps/iFrames into FE CMS. This shall include designing and integrating web analytics solutions (eg integrating feature apps analytics with main website analytics with different technologies).
In the role you will:
Manage the technical relationship with business stakeholders, in-house technical teams and 3rd party suppliers for all IT enablers connected to the eCommerce landscape.
Define solutions to support the Front End/Front End integration of a white label FE with local and central eCommerce platforms.
Define innovative fit for purpose architectural solutions for assigned projects, which meet business requirements and align with the architectural strategy and roadmap.
Plan and implement the design activities for solutions in order to ensure that the design is translated into a working solution that is installed and configured correctly, and within budget and timescales.
Document functional and non-functional requirements which can be traced back to business requirements, so that these can be used when liaising with key stakeholders to obtain approval for the solution design.
Make recommendations on the use of 3rd party suppliers for a specific project and assess and evaluate subsequent solutions to ensure that they are fit for purpose, align with strategy and roadmaps, and deliver maximum return on investment for the organisation.
Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure that all solutions comply with the technical governance framework, and with IT security and risk principles.
You will have broad and deep knowledge of Solution Architecture with recent experience working on delivery of large scale eCommerce program, experience in Backend for Frontend (BFF) design, experience in integration of Feature Apps/iFrames into a white label Front End, deep understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies; comfortable in operating in hybrid delivery model (Agile/Waterfall), extensive knowledge of SOAP and REST based web services design, a good working knowledge of Digital, Cloud and Integration technologies including SOA and Micro-services Architecture, strong demonstrable IT and business process skills.
