- Team Leader - Linux Technical Support Team
- 3 month initial contract
- c£ per day (Inside-IR35/Umbrella)
- Swindon (plus remote-working)
The Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a hands-on Linux Technical Support Team Leader (CentOS) to help manage the output of an engineering team configuring and upgrading remotely deployed vending machines (networked/Linux/Postgres)
You will be responsible for managing their onsite technical team, which comprises of Linux Systems Administrators and networking professionals, to ensure products are fit-for-purpose' and meet client expectations.
The ideal candidate will come from a hands on with Linux administration/Scripting and network administration background, dealing with electronic/electrical devices or equipment
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (CentOS)
- Knowledge of Scripting for Linux systems
- Two years' experience of deploying IP Networks
- Experience of deployment of SQL/Postgres
- Familiar with utilising Docker for containerisation
- Experience managing teams of technical individuals
