Front End Architect/Lead Developer - SC cleared - React - Cloud Microservices
A major central government organisation is a seeking a Front End Architect to join them on an outside IR35 basis till .
Required skills:
- Experienced with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- React essential, ideally will also have AngularJS
- Strong Java skills (ideally Java 1.8), Spring Boot, Maven, DevOps tooling.
- Experienced with responsive design
- Enthusiastic about emerging web technologies and how to progressively use them in projects
- Experience working in a DevOps environment
- Worked with Agile, TDD, CI, Git
- Familiar with using a task runner eg Gulp/Grunt.
- Good understanding of Web Accessibility.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of message queuing eg RabbitMQ
- ElasticSearch/SOLR
- Experience with architectural design/microservices
- Experience using CSS naming conventions, particularly BEM and ITCSS.
Owing to the nature of the work and current delays in clearance processing, applicants without active SC clearance will be discounted.
