Requirement Description
The senior solution architect consultant will execute the following main tasks:
*Refresh, update and maintain the AFSC reference architecture development in accordance with NATO Architecture Framework.
*Refresh, update and maintain the AGS target architecture development in accordance with NATO Architecture Framework.
*Provide advice on the future strategy for integration of these and other JISR capabilities within the NATO domain.
*Provide meaningful input to envisioning architectures and deployment strategies that fit best the NATO requirements.
*Focus on solution designs and integration (across solution areas).
Skills and Experience
*Technical/Systems Engineering qualifications with a minimum 5 years of experience
*Minimum 5 years of Architecture experience in designing large and complex solutions
*Provide meaningful input to envisioning architectures and deployment strategies that fit best the NATO requirements
*Focus on solution designs and integration (across solution areas)
*Has extensive experience using architecture tooling (eg Archimate and Microsoft Visio)
*Ability to transcribe existing architecture into architecture tooling Will work on the SATCOM and ISR architectures at operational and system levels.
Essential:
*Current NS security clearance
*NATO and/or military experience
*A good understanding of military C2ISR concepts
*Knowledge of existing/R&D civilian and military surveillance & reconnaissance systems and technologies
*Expert in TOGAF and NAF
*Experience with System of Systems solution design
*Experienced in UML, BPMN and Modelling Tools
*Able to capture and analyze requirements and manage opposing point of views
*Able to conceptualize large complex integrated solutions
*Able to receive and execute tasking in-accordance with direction
