Azure DevOps/Network Engineer
Contract
£500 - £600 pd (outside IR35)
We have an urgent opportunity for an experience hybrid Azure Networking/DevOps Specialist to join a project for a global professional services organisation (Legal/Financial)
You must offer expertise across the majority of the core disciplines outlines:
- Co-ordinate network changes with Network team; understanding of:
- L7 load balancer
- Perimeter Firewalls/IPS
- Micro-segmentation/Distributed Firewalls
- Implement and configure n-tier Web application infrastructure using standard patterns.
- IIS 8.5+ reverse Proxy configuration
- Tomcat 8.5+ configuration
- ElasticSearch cluster configuration and management
- Basic familiarity with SQL Server 2014+
- Manage configuration and deployment using Puppet Enterprise using both desired state and task-driven approach.
- Implement management scripts with PowerShell.
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines with Bamboo and ideally Azure DevOps
- Use Git and manage repositories with Bitbucket ideally Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Chocolatey.
- Familiarity with MSBuild/building .NET Framework & .NET Core projects.
- Familiarity with Node.js/npm.
- Experience with artefact management system such as ProGet/Artifactory.
