A World Leading Global Energy Company have an exciting opportunity for a Node/React.js Developer to join their IT team.The team use Open Source tools deployed on the Azure environment.
What you'll do
- Build UIs using modern tools such as ES6, React, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, NoSQL, CSS, CSS-in-JS, Redux, Webpack, Jest, and Enzyme.
- Build a range of enterprise grade APIs to serve multiple internal and external consumers ranging from customer facing apps to machine learning pipelines
- Mastery experience of REST, GraphQL, and modern protocols (eg GRPC, HTML2)
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested code
- Communicate with other teams and individuals to plan, coordinate and seek feedback
- Pitch in where needed as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
- Document the architecture in Confluence
- Use azure.devops for Agile development
- Use github/CircleCI for CD/CI
- You do your best even if no one is watching
- Collaborative team player with enterprise-first mindset
Who you are
- Be an experienced full stack developer with strong knowledge of Node/React JS/Typescript and GrapQL
- Experience with distributed systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- You have experience deploying production applications (eg Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Rave about the benefits that CI/CD has given you in previous projects
- Demonstrated experience in implementing highly scalable full stack services
- A solid background in Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture
- Great communication skills
