A leading consultancy is currently recruiting for a Global Markets Auditor to join their Division in their London office on a 12-month contract.

As a Global Markets Auditor, you will be part of the International team responsible for;

  • Lead, plan, perform and document internal audits in accordance with the global markets audit plan;
    • Planning - Performing process walkthroughs to identify the key activities, risks, and controls.
    • Risk Assessment - Applying risk and control concepts to assess control design and developing a test approach of the key controls.
    • Operational Effectiveness Testing -Testing the effectiveness of the key controls identified.
    • Documenting - Compiling clear and concise audit work papers and reports with conclusions that are supported by the work performed.
  • Liaison with business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation - producing relevant and concise meeting agendas, directing stakeholder interviews, and communicating complex information.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have;

  • Demonstrable experience across a range of asset classes and traded products with a particular depth of expertise in Fixed Income, currency and commodities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with internal audit assessment of equities businesses and/or private-side/origination businesses would be an advantage.
