Principle Engineer (Systems Developer) - 3-month contract - Remote
Harvey Nash's public sector client are looking for a Principal Engineer (Systems Developer) who is a ServiceNow certified system administrator.
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to degree level in an IT related subject or equivalent experience.
- Servicenow Certified System Administrator Certification
- Demonstratable software development experience of maintaining and developing a range of applications on the ServiceNow platform using:
- Javascript
- Glidescript and other ServiceNow API's
- Angular JS
- HTML
- REST
- SOAP
- Experience of writing secure applications
- Experience with optimisation of database objects and queries.
- Experience of working alongside customers to transform business goals and technical requirements to deliver new functionality and create solutions
Desirable:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification
- Additional qualification eg ISEB, BCS or ITIL.
- System integration experience using web services
- Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities such as Discovery and Orchestration
- Experience working in an DevOps environment
- Exposure to at least two of the following: ITSM, ITBM, CSM & Scoped Apps.
