Senior Python/React Developer/Engineer/Programmer - JavaScript, Python, React, Redux, AWS, Amazon Web Services, Django, Pandas, Numpy, Portfolio Management, Investment Management
A Senior Fullstack Developer, experienced in both Python and React, is urgently sought after by a leading global Investment Manager. You will join their Front Office Portfolio Management function, working as part of a highly agile team building out a greenfield cloud-hosted Portfolio Management platform.
This is a hands-on role working in a across the front and Back End using React and Python respectively, with other responsibilities including contributing to design/architecture and analysing/reviewing code. You will be also be involved in improving the DevOps CI/CD pipeline and end-to-end testing (unit, integration etc.)
To be successful, you will require the following:
- A strong engineering background in Python and JavaScript with React
- Experience with frameworks/libraries such as NumPy, Pandas and Redux
- Strong knowledge of Microservices and APIs
- An Agile mindset, following TDD/BDD and modern DevOps practices such as CI/CD
- Familiarity with the JVM and AWS is highly beneficial
- Whilst not critical, an understanding of Capital Markets, particularly Investment Management, would be beneficial
This represents an excellent opportunity for a talented Fullstack Python/React Developer to join a World-leading firm and help drive the build of an exciting greenfield cloud-hosted Portfolio Management platform.
This is an outside IR35 contract that will initially run until the 26th March.
