Must have –
Linux - Redhat Enterprise, CentOS, Ubuntu,
Linux embed OS
Backup/DR/BCP of Linux
Linux security
Linux File system and file system security
Linux networking
Linux Remote installation
LDAP and Management tools
OS installation, deployment, configuration, management and monitoring tools
Regular patching and testing of deployments
Scripting and automation including YUM and other tools
Shell scripting
Nice to have -
Strong network knowledge including WAN/LAN topology, adding VLANS & Firewalls, TCP/IP and routing
Strong understanding of DNS
Anti-Virus/Protection
