Technical Specialist - Oracle - Apache - CI/CD
We are looking for a technical specialist to join an exciting project with a renowned global telecommunications client based in West London. The candidate will have experience creating a platform blueprint and design which will support the next generation applications and systems critical to the success of the business. The role will see you collaborating effectively with other technical teams using industry-standard tooling and concepts, due to the pandemic collaboration will mainly take place over conference calls and meetings.
Technical Specialist - Oracle - Apache - CI/CD experience:
- Extensive knowledge of relevant skills applicable to the role, a sound understanding of web-based technology and supporting platforms and systems.
- Strong and demonstrable level of working technical expertise within the relevant field of work.
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, ability to identify and provide a technical solution to problems.
- Experience in Java/Web technologies and applications Servers (Tomcat/WebLogic)
- In-depth understanding of design principals and approach, design patterns and standards.
- Experience of DevOps/CI-CD
- Strong experience in troubleshooting and debugging production issues through incidents to restoration and root cause determination.
- Experience in configuring and managing Red hat operating systems and environments.
- Experience in designing robust and scalable cloud-based infrastructure, developing infrastructure as code and environments.
- Experience of Kubernetes and containerisation across Cloud providers (AWS).
- Strong experience in deploying and debugging applications, identifying root causes and applying resolution.
- Experience in authoring and maintenance of knowledge bases and workflow products (Atlassian JIRA and Confluence)
- Ability to review, route or fix issues by working with peers and development teams
- Ability to mentor and Cross train peers
- Strong communication skills to work across multiple teams for delivery and incident management.
- Experience troubleshooting and ability work with the design, development and test teams
- Understanding of configuration management.
- Good understanding of Application development and Application Lifecycle Management
- Experience of Monitoring and assurance products (Splunk, Dynatrace advantageous)
