Description
Our client, an award-winning digital agency, is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with React to join them on a B2B contract, in their offices in Wroclaw, Poland.
You will be working on an existing product in an agile team consisting of Front End, Back End, native iOS and Android developers, and a DevOps specialist. The team is involved in long-term support of a new high-availability transport platform launched earlier this year, with monthly traffic in the hundreds of thousands of users. You will be responsible for maintaining two React applications (customer-facing headless site + SPA hybrid and internal admin portal). This includes both bug fixing, ongoing improvements and implementing new features.
The successful candidate MUST live in/around Wraclow, Poland, no relocation or sponsorship offered.
Key responsibilities:
- Your key responsibility will be ownership of an existing suite of React applications Front End applications, both TSX and JSX.
- You will also work with these existing projects in order to scale, maintain and improve their functionality.
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionalities on the platform.
Key skills required:
- Advanced knowledge of the React ecosystem
- Significant practical experience of maintaining React applications
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Sood knowledge of core web technologies, principles and best practices
- Good experience with modern Front End tooling - style pre/post processors, styled-components, package managers, linters, packaging/deployment tools etc.
- Experience with integrating RESTful APIs into dynamic UIs
- Solid understanding of unit, integration and end-to-end test best practices
- Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git
- A sensitivity to quality benchmarks such as usability, accessibility, validity, performance and SEO
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar role
