The company is looking to support the networking team with the successful execution of a project to relocate hundreds of staff into a new building by summer 2021. He/she will be instrumental in developing processes that allow for timely and cost-effective project and move management.
We are looking for a project manager, who - together with the "Operations", "Network", Security, "Core IT Services" - in the Infrastructure domain can successfully deliver the project to fulfil the different stakeholder's expectations. Various activities will need to be coordinated with other suppliers and service providers.
Following activities (non-exclusive) are requested:
- Preparation of all project management deliverables (project control artefact, project management/standard plans and project logs) required by the company according to the PM²standards; in particular with regards to governance, reporting, risk control and communication
- Coordinates the relocations of infrastructure and equipment across Service Lines.
- Synchronizes and plans strategic project scope of work and all deliverables
- Accurate & realistic estimations of workload, planning definition and tasks breakdown;
- Identify project risk, develop a project risk management plan and actively manage risk throughout the project life cycle;
- Ensure production of all necessary project documentation, from initiation to closure according to the governance standards and domain best practices;
- Assurance of deliverables' quality;
- Ensure respect of project milestones and deadlines;
- Optimal use of available resources;
- Organization, chairing and/or participation in workshops and meetings;
- Report on project progress;
- Monitoring of costs, timescales and resources used; action when they deviate from agreed tolerances;
- Chair project team and steering committee meetings;
- Manage interaction between the customer (business manager and project owner),various stakeholders and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes;
- Provision of effective leadership for the project team, ensuring that team members are motivated;
- Rigorous application of Project Management principles; Guarantee project methodology compliance and respect of the company project governance;
Knowledge and skills
- A significant amount of experience in delivering similar projects, involving relocation of staff and consolidation of sites
- Very good problem solving skills, able to demonstrate an ability to quickly resolve issues involving people, processes or infrastructure
- An ability to quickly build an understanding of the business and our needs and to create the relevant relationships needed to drive this project to its successful conclusion
- An ability to define and explain project status through clear documentation and effective methods of communication at all levels of the organization
- Planning the overall office relocation particularly surrounding the schedule management to provide a smooth transition for internal and external staff members.
- Liaising with external providers to manage the logistical perspective of the move including relocation and setup of equipment
- Managing the resources required and providing leadership and forward-thinking to ensure deadlines are met
- Budgeting of costs for the project and monitoring the progression of the relocation
- Providing regular reports and communication to the senior management team surrounding the progress or status updates in changing facilities
- Adhering to the company policy and Work Health and Safety guidelines
- Proven experience of managing projects related to network and IT infrastructure
- Understanding of telco, Servers, storage and backup, disaster recovery, data center facilities, IT security;
- Good understanding of business requirements, service management and technology evolution;
- Deep & applied knowledge of PM methodologies;

Minimal 1 certification required:
- PMP or higher
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or higher
- MSP Foundation or higher
Assets
- PM² certification;
- Experience in previous office and/or building moves;
- Technical background in IT infrastructure technologies;
