Description
The Project Analyst will support the Project Management Office in the execution of regular reporting, project quality and execution of small (by spend) projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- You will track the status of projects across the portfolio
- You will be the ambassador of project quality for all projects
- You will produce and help to improve the regular Project Dashboards
- You will coordinate the preparation of Gate Review meetings, following up on action items
- You will run all Lessons Learned reviews;
- You will manage small (spend and risk) projects according to the Project Handbook
Essential qualities:
Knowledge:
- You have a proven understanding of Project Management with a preference for these certifications: CAPM, PMP, any IPMA level certificationor a Prince 2 Practitioner (not Foundation)
- You have proven experience (2 years) successfully working on a project team in an organised framework
- You have an up-to-date understanding of the differences and challenges in finding a balance between Lean and Agile methodologies
- You have a general understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) but do not have to have deep technical knowledge
Skills:
- You are extremely detail oriented, even pedantic for reporting
- You can easily speak and write to all levels of an organisation professionally in English
- You are able to work with equal quality both independently and in a team
- You can anticipate needs of the Project Office and provide improvement recommendations
- When conversations get animated, you are a calming influence
