Performance Indicators
- Developers integrate with team norms around high quality engineering and delivery practices (eg code reviews, high quality code and unit testing, reporting, documentation etc.) and can participate comfortable in discussions around these topics
- Work across disciplines in your squad to add value in all areas, ensuring that you are working towards ensuring the team meets its commitments to the business (eg short-term sprint goals, and longer-term strategic objectives)
- Collaboration at all levels across technology, IT and product (within and outside of a squad) to ensure delivery of products that efficiently meets business and customer needs
- Full and constructive participation in squad ceremonies, meetings and team initiatives (eg SDA, Performance Programme, 1-2-1s and so-on)
- Demonstrate continual learning and development, improving skills, knowledge and performance
As a senior Front End developer, you should have a well proven track record of delivering web-based applications and possess excellent written and communication skills. Other requirements include:
- Good knowledge of current Front End technology trends - you will have your finger on the pulse and have experimented with other current development technologies
- Web development skills - you will have experience encompassing web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Ajax and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in Angular development
- Good Knowledge of git source control
- Strong communication skills, being able to confidently articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of working within an Agile development team
- Good understanding of the principles of Agile working patterns and frameworks (eg Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to write detailed technical documentation and diagrams
- An eye for detail - you will be able to anticipate issues and work to quickly resolve them prior to delivery
