Description
SERT is seeking a Satellite Systems engineer for one our prestigious clients situated in the South of England.
Within this role we are seeking candidates with experience in system engineering management / architecture at satellite / payload/platform level?
Previous experience of working on Satellite projects would be an advantage due to the nature of the project, you will be working on.
Manage customer mission/system requirements and devolve these into subsystem requirements
Allocate/coordinate the initial satellite budgets (mass, power, link, pointing)
Conduct system / subsystem trade-offs
Manage interfaces between subsystems
Critically review inputs from the different teams (systems, software, mechanical/thermal)
Support design review (PDR, CDR, TRR, FAR)
Propose system development strategy (EM, EQM. PFM) to mitigate schedule risks and budget constraint
Liaise with customers and subcontractors on technical issues
Mentoring of team members
Support bids providing technical insight as well as costing inputs
Support the verification strategy for the end to end system validation
Manage costs and schedule for system work packages
You have a strong team spirit and you are able to lead a technical team?
A degree in engineering would be an advantage, or equivalent industry experience.
