AWS SSM Architect
My client is a Security SaaS business based in SW England. We're urgently looking for an experienced and hands-on AWS Cloud Architect.
The client runs a large AWS environment, with over 300 accounts and 10,000 Servers. This is 90% Linux. We need an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement Windows and Linux based patch solutions using AWS Systems Manager (AWS SSM), across multiple accounts and on premises infrastructures. Working with system owners to gather requirements for patch schedules and deployment.
Subject Matter Expert in:
o AWS SSM, including agent deployment, document creation and reporting
o IAM, in particular cross account and least privilege
o Linux and Windows patching processes
o Modern development practices, CI/CD automation for deployment using GIT with Terraform or CloudFormation
Critical:
o Python
o Splunk - data ingestion from AWS
Nice to have:
o PowerShell
o Tines experience or another automation platform
Location: UK/Europe - Remote. There will be requirement for evening meetings with north American teams.
