BI Developer
6 month contract
Cardiff
£500 - £525 Via umbrella only
Leading Cardiff based Financial Services business have a requirement for an experienced BI Developer on a 6 month contract, via umbrella only, for a key transformation project.
Key skills/experience:
- ETL development using SSIS
- Writing complex Transact SQL queries, SQL stored procedures and query optimisation
- Knowledge and understanding of the Kimball Data Warehousing methodology
- Working with source control platforms preferably Team Foundation Server
- OLAP cube design and development using SSAS
- Modelling and building multi-dimensional Data Warehouse solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Any of the following would be desirable:
- SSRS
- SQL OLTP relational database design and implementation
- MDX
- Powershell
- C# .Net
- Previous Financial Services experience would be highly beneficial.
