Contract System Admin
London based
£225 per day for a 4 week contract starting 14th Dec
Our client requires an experienced System Administrator to join their Support department to deal with Network and security issues within a Global environment.
This is to cover staff abence for a short period before and after Christmas - Should you do well there may be an offer of a further extension.
The role:
- Troubleshooting problems reported by users and analyse and isolate issues
- Ensuring network connectivity up time and security is on par with ISO27001 specifications
- Carrying out account creation using Active Directory and equipment deployment for new users
- Supporting and maintaining internal network infrastructure
- Providing after-hours support for infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance
- Maintaining inventory and asset configuration/documentation
You:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Professional certification (eg Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) would be useful, but not essential
- Previous experience with databases, networks (LAN,WAN) and patch management
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently & execute issues quickly within a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills -written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
- A high level of attention to detail
This contract will pay a starting day rate of £225
