Azure Data Architect - remote-based - needs good Databricks - immediate interview!
Experience
- Architecting cloud-based data platforms using a wide range of the Azure Services including Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob storage.
- Building conceptual, logical and physical data models optimised for analytical use cases.
- Defining data architecture framework, standards and principles.
- Mapping data from source to target and establishing current & future state based on business data requirements.
- Providing Quality Assurance, reviewing the development.
- Working Knowledge of Datamodelling Tools
- Working in an agile environment
- Participate in sprint planning, estimating stories, providing proposed solutions and identifying stories that are not ready for planning
Skills
- Good knowledge of Azure Services including Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob storage and Power BI
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines is ideal but knowledge of any other Enterprise product/tool for CI/CD is also considered, eg: Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
Certifications ( Non-essential but desirable)
Exam DP-201: Designing an Azure Data Solution
Exam AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies
Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Spark 2.4/3.0
