Digital Tech Lead
Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced Digital Tech Lead for an initial 6-month contract in London. This role is currently remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SCV technical engagement with OGDs and Industry Partners
- Identify integration patterns/options with industry partners re. data acquisition and ingest, utilising appropriate technologies
- Lead SCV technical design of SCV target state architecture and support the definition of artefacts (eg HLD) where appropriate
- Engage with FB programme governance assurance stakeholders (TRAP process) to ensure user and programme needs are agreed and aligned
- Lead on the implementation of MVPs to prove value
- During delivery, manage efforts of developers to ensure products and artefacts meet the business and programme requirements
Preferred Delivery Experience
- Experience of projects involving large data acquisition and ingest from various unconnected systems
- Experience of technical architecture and architectural practices
- Experience of working on previous engagements as a Technical Architect
- Thrives working with stakeholders at all levels in an organisation on both the business and technical areas
- Understanding and practice of agile ways of working
- Proven production and iteration of core technical artefacts and tools

Skills and Experience
- Experienced in the following languages/tools, must have a proven background of experience - Java, JSON, XML, Microservices, Agile Scrum methodology, Play Framework, mongoDB,;
- Knowledge of these areas -- Scala, Docker, Puppet, IntelliJ, IDE, Sbt;
- Knowledge of --Java Development, Weblogic, Webmethods, Java Scripting, J2SE, J2EE, Spring, EJB, HTML, HTML5, Unix, Eclipse, SOAP, XML, REST, JBOSS, Apache, Tomact, SQL, Hibernate, JUnit, Selenium (Automation)
