Description
Java (Python) Developer Contract 6-18 Months Dublin. My client a leading global name in their space is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Java/Python Developer to join them on a contract basis for 6 months but with potential to roll up to 18 months.
Successful candidates will have 5+ years of commercial experience in Java and Python/C#, C++ OO programming language with design patterns. Java with Python experience is preferred. You will have strong database development experience, preferably with DB2 or SQL Server/Sybase/Oracle experience. You will have the Ability to work with React and GIT a plus. Experience in developing high performance Server Side applications dealing with very large volumes of data. You will have Server Side development experience, Extensive database development experience and Experience with different SDLCs - Agile/Scrum etc. Previous experience in banking/finance sector an advantage, but not essential and Experience/Understanding of Market Risk and Value at Risk an advantage, but not essential.
