Description

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a MS Office 365 Apps Developer for a contract initially until on a rate of c.£/day (outside of IR35). This role will be remote based.

Responsibilities:
Design, build and run bespoke solutions based on Microsoft Office 365 (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, SharePoint)
Build applications using PowerApps and setup workflows, integrating with Active Directory and internal business directory
Migrate file shares into SharePoint Online, and support upgrading applications to integrate with SharePoint Online
Build and implement workflows for the apps, based on business requirements
Provide solution and technical expertise and producing papers to feed into Project boards
Produce and maintain documentation according to project needs

Essential Skills:
Track record on working and delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Flow)
Experience in building Power Apps - ideally both Canvas and Model drivel
Experience of developing event receivers, timer jobs, workflows
Experience on migrating to SharePoint online, including permission migration
Track record working in an Agile software development team.
Experience integrating new Front End and platforms with heterogeneous Case Management workflows and back ends.

Desirable Skills:
Experience in APIs (RESTful and SOAP)
CI/CD integration tools TeamCity, GIT
Expertise in Front End component technologies such as Angular
ASP.NET, .NET Core or similar languages
Webservers (IIS), Apache, Nginx, Tomcat administration & configuration.
Expert knowledge of Web development. HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX.
