A leading consultancy is currently recruiting for a Global Markets Auditor to join their Division in their London office on a 12-month contract.
As a Global Markets Auditor, you will be part of the International team responsible for;
- Lead, plan, perform and document internal audits in accordance with the global markets audit plan;
- Planning - Performing process walkthroughs to identify the key activities, risks, and controls.
- Risk Assessment - Applying risk and control concepts to assess control design and developing a test approach of the key controls.
- Operational Effectiveness Testing -Testing the effectiveness of the key controls identified.
- Documenting - Compiling clear and concise audit work papers and reports with conclusions that are supported by the work performed.
- Liaison with business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation - producing relevant and concise meeting agendas, directing stakeholder interviews, and communicating complex information.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have;
- Demonstrable experience across a range of asset classes and traded products with a particular depth of expertise in Fixed Income, currency and commodities.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with internal audit assessment of equities businesses and/or private-side/origination businesses would be an advantage.
