The Role:
Solirius Consulting is looking to recruit an experienced Data Engineer to work on a digital project with one of our key Government clients. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for providing data support to the product owners and to provide a data engineering and data/dev ops function, especially around loading geo spatial data from Ordnance survey.
Skills required:
- very strong SQL
- knowledge of GCP and BigQuery
- ability to manage structured and unstructured large data sets
- someone who has experience of data warehousing and data operations
- automate data through the system and platforms using GCP tools
- data pipeline expert with a clear understanding of Datamodelling and data architecture.
- Postgres with knowledge of geospatial data eg PostGIS
- good communication skills.
- ability to carry out technical spikes
- Python skills
