SCCM Expert
Our client, a global provider of IT services, require an SCCM Expert who has in-depth understanding of SCCM life cycle. This is a temporary 12 month contract, to start immediately.
Key responsibilities:
- Proficient in Configuration Manager, SCM, SCCM 2012, 2016 R2
- Administrator proficiencies which include deployment methodologies via SCCM, ability to create, edit and delete collections
- Ability to clean-up SCCM related device information, collections with knowledge on scavenging
- General Scripting knowledge to be able to run reports within SCCM
- SCOM knowledge if possible
- WaaS knowledge which includes knowledge of OS upgrades and overal patching via SCCM
- Health monitoring and reporting knowledge
- Knowledge of Xenappp and virtual environment deployments including large scale changes
- License Management support in regards MS true ups and other vendor support via SCCM
- Mandatory to have Intune knowledge
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of Application Packaging/Repackaging life cycle
- Should have knowledge on Windows Installer technology
- Needs to be proficient with AdminStudio Suite, InstallShield, ORCA, Wise Packaging Studio
- Should have working experience on MS AppV package creation and deployment
- Should have knowledge on application mass deployment with MS SCCM
- Should be able to develop complex logic in VBScript, MS PowerShell, WiseScript and Windows Batch script
- Should have knowledge on Windows Image creation process
- Must be aware of Patch Management activity
- Associate should be able to propose and convince customer in terms of implementing industry standard best practices, wherever applicable
Experience required:
- Must have good application troubleshooting skill
- Should have fair understanding on windows file, process, registry, services related problem and their resolution
- Must have in-depth knowledge on MS Windows Operating System's building blocks
- Should have working experience in migration project
- Should have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Good to have exposure on MSIX, APPX type package
- Experience in Insurance domain, preferred in Life & Pensions
- Flexibility to learn new framework
