Description
As part of Cloud Migration project, we are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Development team based in London. An ideal candidate would have a strong development background in AWS and programming/Scripting experience with exposure to DevOps and Agile frameworks.
Required skills and experience
- At least 3 years of proven experience working on AWS preferably EC2, RDS Oracle, IAM, Route 53 etc.
- Good knowledge on building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible
- Good knowledge on infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform
- Worked on major AWS migrations preferably with hybrid architecture
- Good knowledge of one of the major programming/Scripting languages such as Python, Java etc.
- Experience with working in DevOps and Agile frameworks
- Exposure to Test Driven Development and adhere to best practices
- Excellent team player
- Highly pragmatic and delivery focused, can do attitude
- Takes ownership for delivery and is a self-starter

- Ability to think through the requirements and provide thorough analysis, design and development
- Timely delivery of developments to a high standard and quality
- Provide support to the internal teams where necessary to promote the changes to Production successfully
- Provide good documentation.
- Communicate effectively with business areas and other technology teams
