Mainframe Network Systems Analyst- Initial 6 month contract - £200 - £250 Per Day (INSIDE IR35 - PAYE)
We are partnering with a client who to recruit an experienced Mainframe Network Systems Analyst for an initial 6 month contract.
You will be responsible for the:
Resolving network connectivity issues within client's network infrastructure
As part of the z/OS Mainframe networking team you will to help support multiple z/OS environments
Standardisation of Mainframe network configurations to improve customer service.
You'll need:
*Experience with IBM VTAM, TCPIP (z/OS Communication Server), IBM Network Sysplex Distributor, IBM Network HyperSockets IBM Policy Agent & AT-TL
*Mainframe Network Encryption experience
*IDS DSME - APPN Distribution Session Management Exit IBM Enterprise Extender
*IP/DLC HPR - High Performance Routing APPN - Advanced Peer to Peer
*Networking SNA & IP Design for Mainframe Connectivity Design and Implement Client Requested Connectivity Solutions
*Routers, Switches, Firewalls Disaster Recovery Exercises Service Requests IBM Utilities
*JCL, Batch Jobs, Procs GTF Trace/IP Trace/Dumps/SLIPs/Wireshark (Execute, Format, Read, Debug) Exits/Usermods (Write, Implement, Debug) Software Packaging (SMPE)
*Incident/Problem/Change/Software Asset Mgmt (ITIL) Technology Enhancements
