Description
We are working with one of the worlds most recognisable brands based in London.
They arelooking for a DevSecOps Engineer (or DevOps Engineer with strong understanding of Security IT tools) on a contract basis (outside of IR35).
You must have a DevOps Engineering background (preferably working as a Software Engineer/Developer previously). You will ideally have knowledge of cloud native security tooling. You will also benefit from having Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Data Security experience, preferably in an AWS cloud environment.
As this is a DevSecOps Engineer position, day to day, you will be expected to -
- Encompass systems engineering and performance, configuration management, and day to day operations.
- You'll seek to automate wherever possible to improve efficiency and support Infrastructure as a Service.
- You will also promote DevOps best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, branching strategy, and environment decoupling) and manage and maintain an AWS cloud environment.
Essential
- DevSecOps Engineer background (or DevOps Engineer with strong understanding of Security IT tools)
- Experience of working with Security IT tools (SonarQube, Black Duck, TruffleHog etc)
- AWS cloud experience
- Container tools - Docker, K8S
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience
- Experience of working with Configuration Management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc)
- Fluency in one or more high-level programming languages like Java, Python, Go, Ruby or equivalent
