Description
Cloud Consulting have an urgent requirement for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to work on a high-profile project for a leading blue chip company.
This is a fully-remote basis, and will be outside of IR35.
Job details:
- Customise a scoped application within the ServiceNow system.
- Uses Scripting tools and Service Now functionality such as Studio, Flow Designer and RestAPI to automate rote tasks being done in Service Now.
- Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
- Support the team in ServiceNow operations like, reporting, Metrics, SLAs, etc.
- Support the ServiceNow Technical Review process with clear and precise diagrams and documentations to obtain approval for production release
- Provide technical assessments, written documentation, and technical expertise
- Technical experience with at least 3 years' experience in:
- JavaScript classes,
- Jelly scripts,
- Database operations, Data imports and exports, Data Transformation, UI Actions and Context Menus, Macros,
- Security and Privacy Data management handling and Policies,
- Automation and workflow design and testing
- Escalation, Exception and Alerts handling
- Access Control and Logging,
- APIs & web services,
- connection points for integrations with non-SNOW platforms
- client-side and Server Side scripts
- Conform to ServiceNow and organisational best practices.
- Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge within the team.
- Provide development effort estimates for planned work activities.
- Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problems.
- Good understanding of incident management/service request management.
- Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident Management).
- Experience in CMDB, Discovery and integration with other external modules.
- Good understanding of relational databases.
- Experience developing clear and concise technical process documentation.
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 3 years of Service Now experience.
