Description
We are looking for an English speaking SAP PP Consultant to assist with an ongoing project. This will be fully remote until the situation with COVID-19 improves.
Once this improves it will be 3 days onsite in Poland every 2 weeks- the client will pay for travel expenses.
Scope of your role:
- Understand business requirements and analyze relevant processes in Production and Capacity Planning, for Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order production scenarios
- Configure the SAP system primarily in PP, but also adjacent modules and processes having an impact on Production Planning and Execution, such as MM, QM, Warehouse Logistics and SD
- Prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments, define test scripts and be part of the various testing cycles
- Document system functionality and customizing, create application manuals, develop training materials, and perform user trainings
- Support the data migration team in mapping and validation of master- and transactional data
- Monitor system activities (eg update requests, locks etc.), interfaces (eg RFC/IDOC processing) and batch jobs, and ensure appropriate usage of the system
- Provide application support for business users, key users and subject matter experts
- As part of the implementation team plan, coordinate and perform work packages alongside the project roadmap
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in an IT related discipline eg Informatics, Business and Information Technology or equivalent
- Several years of experience in international SAP ERP implementation projects including (cross-module) customizing, ideally gained with SAP S/4 Hana. Must have proficient PP and MM customizing knowledge.
- In-depth understanding of the application life cycle starting from functional analysis & design, configuration and development, software test, deployment to production and support
- Experience with Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order production
- Very good knowledge of material master, control parameters, and configuration of MRP and CRP processes
- Cross-Application knowledge SAP ERP external Manufacturing Execution Systems and related interface technology is beneficial
- At least basic knowledge of ABAP development processes, debugging, and error analysis

Duration: 12 months plus extensions

Rate: €250 per day plus an additional €50 per day onsite and travel expenses
