Security Application Support Senior Engineer - Dublin/Remote - Outside of IR35
Identity Access Management teams are responsible for end to end providing services to support internal employees' capabilities to retrieve access to systems and applications.
This position is on the Employee Identity Access Operations (Application Support and Provisioning) team which is responsible for maintaining the Access Management platform in Stage and limited configuration within Production as well as access provisioning access and troubleshooting for various platforms.

Role
- Supports access provisioning of the various platforms within the company to enable employees
- Demonstrate strong knowledge across a broad range of identity and access management technologies
- Leads specific projects of Business Operations for a platform
- Streamlining and standardizing traditional application specific support activities
- Reviews and signs off platform procedures are well documented
- Challenge the status quo processes and identifies way to automate through implementation Participate, as part of a global team, to transition any open items to global team members
- Helps to innovate on new methodologies to align with security best practices and Business Operations
- Researches new methodologies to improve security within the identity access management space
- Coaches junior level employees on security and Business Operations best practices
- Partners with peers in the Identity Access Management organization to ensure governance processes are in place, enabling access to the business with least privileges
- Proactively manages/executes change activities to maximize customer experience
All About You
- Must have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
- Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results
- Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive Intermediate to strong skills in Information Security Expert skills to troubleshoot, problem solve, and follow documented procedures Strong strategic thoughtful risk taking experience
- Strong technical background (Windows, AIX, Linux, UNIX, databases (Postgres, Oracle, DB2), web applications like WebSphere or similar including network fundamentals
- Some knowledge in Mainframe will be good
- Experience with an EIAM Tool, RSA IGL preferred but not required
- Experience with a Scrum or Agile team structure
- Intermediate to strong skills in SQL, PERL or Python
- Some knowledge in REST or SOAP
- Strong technical leadership skills and ability to coach junior employee
