Cloud Consulting are looking for an experienced Security Consultant/Architect to work on a high-profile project for a leading public sector company.

The role can be offered on a fully-remote basis, and will can be through a Ltd Company.

This is a senior role creating a bridge between cyber security systems and enterprise architecture. Our client is looking for 5 years + experience in security architecture and good stakeholder experience

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Information Security, especially in a Security Architect role.
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • A least 3 years of experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks
  • Technical expertise in existing and upcoming security and IT systems - MS, cloud applications SAS, PAS,SDI
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field (eg IT Audit, Enterprise Risk Management etc.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) or equivalent

Description of work:

  • Enterprise roadmap, principles, standards, transition architectures.
  • Review existing security architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend security enhancements.
  • Provide guidance on current and emerging security threats and design security architecture to mitigate them.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and integrate them into security architecture as needed.
  • Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks and standards and overall business strategy.
  • Serves as an information security expert and trusted advisor to partners in IT and the business.
