On behalf of our client we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:

Project Management Officer - HQLA (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg - P518

Task and responsibilities

In the context of our clients initiative with HQLAx, we are looking for a Project Management Officer to support us in the project management activities incl. the management of the delivery roadmap.

In a nutshell, the initiative is composed of multiple deliveries with the following key characteristics:

- Deliveries are spread over time potentially with some in parallel;

- Each delivery has its own scope/target service offering with business and/or technical dimensions;

- Each delivery has its set of internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders (eg HQLAx, Business Partners, Customers).

Due to the customer base, resources shall be required to display flexibility on supporting UK time zones, in a reasonable manner;

In this role, the Project Management Officer will provide essential support to the initiative, working with the Project Manager and other team members to achieve project success.

This assignment will comprise a wide range of activities some being more administrative while other being more content driven.

Key activities included in the assignment are the following:

- Support the preparation of the material required for the Material Change Process covering the various business needs (depending on the project phase);

- Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation as for eg project creation form, project plan, project deliverables, project close down;

- Organization of internal/external project related meetings and management of the input and output material incl. minutes/summary;

- Support the identification of risks/issues and maintenance of the relevant log(s);

- Monitoring the status and deadlines of the various project deliverables/activities and follow- with the various internal/external stakeholders to ensure a timely completion;

- Support the internal readiness activities as for eg impact analysis, drafting of the Internal readiness material, preparation of training slides;

- Support the external readiness activities as for eg drafting of the customer product documentation;

- Support the preparation of the material for the various project related meetings;

- Support the maintenance of the product delivery roadmap;

- Set-up and maintenance of a common repository of all project documentation.

Mandatory skills and experience

In terms of required skills, the following requirements are identified:

- Business language is English and any other language skills such as French is welcome;

- Good written and verbal communication skills;

- Good critical and creative thinking and analytical skills;

- Organized and structured;

- Ability to work in a multi tasks environment, manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot, and to meet short- and long-term deadlines;

- Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently;

- In terms of level/experience: Preference is given to 1-3 years of experience, at least - Any experience level above is welcomed;

- Good knowledge of MS tools incl. Sharepoint.

Optional skills

- Experience in budget and financial management;

- Knowledge about our clients systems and project management framework is an asset.

Assignment

  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • Initial contract duration: 3 months with end date of Mar 2021 (optional: extension is anticipated but cannot be guaranteed);
  • Degree of employment: Full-time
  • Location: Luxembourg
