Description
Senior SharePoint Developer - 3 months - Fully Remote - £475(INSIDE IR35)
The purpose of this role is to work with a data centre exit project to migrate SharePoint to new infrastructure. The project requires the build out of a new version of the SharePoint platform, as well as the move underlying data and application interfaces. The successful candidate will have prior DC migration, SharePoint build and upgrade experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Minimum 6 years' experience in SharePoint Administration (SharePoint ) and Windows/IIS
- SharePoint migration experience
- Capable of implementing Enterprise SharePoint Topology designs.
- Good understanding of 3 tier application architecture.
- Knowledge and solid experience on administering Windows Servers: 2016 and 2019.
- Experience in Load Balancing technology primarily F5/Big-IP with knowledge on algorithms and health check options, SSL termination, iRule programming/troubleshooting, etc.
- Strong understanding of life cycle management for SSL certificates.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in analysing server and application logs, etc.
- End to end experience of the project life cycle.
- Knowledge and solid experience on administering Windows Servers: 2016 and 2019.
Other relevant skills and experience
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, SSH, SFTP, etc.
- A proven track record in a software development environment.
- NET (c#, VB.NET). ASP, ASP.NET, ADO, ADO.NET.
- Microsoft SQL Server with strong T-SQL skills.
- Experience with XML, XSLT and HTML.
- Experience of JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Applications from Atlassian (Jira) or Microsoft (Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ways of working.
- Solid work experience on any incident management, problem management, change management tools such as CA Service Desk.
