SAP WM, ECC, Outside IR35, remote working
Project Overview:
A contract resource is required urgently to act as Senior BA on a programme of work integrating carriers with SAP, as well as with a decentralised warehouse running on a third party platform. This role requires a working knowledge of SAP WM, with a strong background in cross platform integration and the definition of transactional interfaces. This role will be responsible for delivering specifications for the optimal technical solution and working with internal development teams to manage projects through to a successful outcome.
Role and Responsibilities
- Give input and direction to the possible ways of delivering the solution based on the agreed requirements, effectively managing interactions with existing systems.
- Ensure that development is consistent with the defined specifications and that cross platform requirements deliverables are aligned effectively, to ensure smooth interaction between systems.
- Take ownership of a successful end to end system test, before managing the business test cycle through to a positive conclusion.
Key requirements:
- Experience of supply chain processes
- Strong background in Supply Chain project delivery, including SAP WM (experience of decentralised warehouses is an advantage).
- Strong integration skills; working knowledge of Middleware and adept in writing interface definitions.
- Senior IS business analysis skills - to interface between business stakeholders and IS development teams, to elicit, challenge, prioritise and document requirements.
- Experience of application development projects on SAP (particularly SD, MM and WM) and non-SAP platforms
- Integration experience/experience in cross platform development projects
- Exceptional communication and inter-personal skills
- Highly analytical in approach, with close attention to detail
