Functional Architect/Solution Architect - (Food Grocery Retail - Supply Chain & Merchandising)
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced Functional Architect/Solution Architect, to join their team in their clients' office in Stockley Park, London. This is a temporary contract to start ASAP.
The client has some major strategic discovery initiatives that will lead to significant changes around Merchandising and Supply Chain within the Food side of the business. This role will be to support both these major initiatives and normal business as usual solution improvements. The emphasis of this role will be more Technical/Platform orientated than Functional, however, both are relevant.
Key responsibilities:
Define roadmaps and strategic architecture vision for Foods with an emphasis on Supplier PortalWorking in consulting to support trading, buying and supplier functionsWork with stakeholders to develop viable solution options taking into consideration functional and non-functional requirementsDocument the chosen solution option and take ownership through the governance processAct as a focal point for system wide knowledge:Support development teams or systems integrators to deliver the solution as specified in the agreed designWork with business stakeholders to ensure system delivers the expected business valueKey Skills/Knowledge:
