Job Title: Cloud Security Architect
Inside IR35

Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Security Architect for Cloud Security Technologies
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
Individual position.
. Perform reviews of cloud services, cloud-based applications and data security reviews to confirm that solutions considered for licensing, newly-acquired solutions and changes to solutions are compliant with policies and standards, and that the right security controls are applied to applications to keep data secure.
. Responsible for advising and helping customers understand and make the most of Microsoft cloud security and compliance features.
. Create Microsoft security solutions designs, and technically oversee/lead non-Microsoft security related projects when specialist SMEs are required
. Own and guide the technical relationship with the customer with specific regard to the security of Microsoft cloud services
Key Skills/Knowledge:
. Experience in MS Azure Security solutions is mandatory. Added experience in other cloud services is preferable.
. Specific experience of the deployment and support of security products within the M365 security and compliance stack
. Must have direct experience of the Microsoft security stack and how it can be properly applied to ensure compliance, protect data and ultimately help keep our customers secure.
. Certifications: TOGAF, Microsoft cloud certified, with a security specialism (AZ-500, MS-500), or equivalent
Experience required:
. 12 - 15 years of experience in Cyber Security out of which 5 years of exp working in Cloud security technologies.
. An experienced security professional with security architecture or consultancy experience, with enterprise level experience.
. Very good knowledge of Cloud security products listed in Gartner's Magic Quadrant, PRISMA, etc.
. Deep technical know-how and experience in designing and implementing Cloud Security solutions, Microsoft Azure Security technologies, including the broader areas of Microsoft Windows security and Microsoft Enterprise, Mobility and Security suite.
. Perform reviews of cloud services, cloud-based applications and data security reviews to confirm that solutions considered for licensing, newly-acquired solutions and changes to solutions are compliant with policies and standards, and that the right security controls are applied to applications to keep data secure.
. Provide technical expertise to the Security Architecture functions during the full life cycle of cloud security solution evaluation, recommendation, testing, installation, rollout and operations
. Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Security technologies.
You will be expected to demonstrate expertise across the areas:
. Azure Security Center
. Azure AD Identity and Single Sign On capabilities
. Network and Perimeter Security
. Azure Log Analytics and SIEM integration.
. Azure Key Vault and Encryption
. Windows Server Security and Hardening
. Azure Threat Protection
. Securing data within Azure, such as Data Lake, Data Bricks and Azure SQL.
. Delivering throughout the project life cycle and you are comfortable with performing advisory engagements, which involves taking the client on a journey from their current mode of operation to their future method of working.
. Ensure that cloud security technologies are properly implemented and meet all applicable requirements.
. Experience in using architecture methodologies such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
. Good understanding of Data Privacy, GDPR and other regulatory requirements
