Description
I have an immediate need for a Lead Contract Developer for a Manchester based client who are beginning a transformational journey; moving to an API first, cloud-based platform to support the evolution of their class leading industry products.
They want someone to take control of their core platform; taking it into the cloud and modernising it to support their ambitious digital product plans.
The platform currently relies heavily on WCF and is written in a mix of c# and VB.NET so the ideal candidate will have experience in these areas.
The successful candidates will be passionate about technology, take pride in their work, have a "can do" attitude and thrive in an agile environment.
Essential Criteria
Strong in either C# or VB.NET
Strong WCF experience
Agile methodologies
Developing highly available, performant RESTful APIs
Using TDD (or similar) to deliver high quality solutions
Strong leadership experience
Strong organisational experience

AWS, terraform
Azure pipelines
Spring Boot
NoSQL
Postgres
The project is likely to take circa 12 months and is paying £p/d + depending on experience.
