Project Manager (Cloud, Infrastructure, ITIL)
A leading educational services business are looking to hire a talented Project Manager (Cloud, Infrastructure, ITIL) to join an expanding project team in London. The Project Manager (Cloud, Infrastructure, ITIL) will work on a series of business-critical projects in a progressive Agile environment.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager (Cloud, Infrastructure, ITIL):
- Develop an effective relationship with all internal and external stakeholders, eg, suppliers, customers, and other business areas
- Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure that customer requirements are being met
- Owning the outcomes of and managing the day-to-day delivery of activities and workstream deliverables
- Accountable for the identification and management of project risk and issues along with mitigation and/or workarounds. Escalating risks and issues, with mitigations to the Prog Manager when outside of agreed tolerances
Experience for the Project Manager (Cloud, Infrastructure, ITIL):
- A strong Project/Programme management background
- Must have delivered large scale technology projects within complex, multi-faceted system environments for large organisations
- A proven track record of working on multiple projects at any one time
- Ability to see across an enterprise and the different workstreams within it
- Excellent understanding of best practice methodologies (Agile, PRINCE 2, MSP, JIRA, Sprint, and Scrum Master)
- Must have successfully delivered software projects involving third party suppliers (on either side of the relationship) within complex organisations
- Previous experience of consolidating datacentres and understanding of what rebuilding cloud infrastructure looks like globally
