Test Management Lead - UK based Remote until Travel Restrictions Lifted then Location London (3-4 Month Contract + Extensions Likely)
bluewaveSELECT are working with a leading Energy sector client as they begin an S/4 Greenfield Implementation, the successful candidate should be a self starter with experience of delivering at least 1 program of Test Management within an S/4 program and preferably with Energy or oil and gas sector experience.
Position Accountabilities
- Delivery of the overall SAP test strategy and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with functional, technical and key business stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver significant value in within the SAP program of work.
- Take full accountability for program test delivery during all phases of the program including testing and cutover of the S4/HANA Cloud implementation. Governance/Management of the SI and their testing capability
- Proven deep understanding of SAP Activate Methodology/ASAP Methodology & SAP Solution Manager.
- Construction and co-ordination of the testing team which will allow successfully delivery of testing deliverables across the project.
- Delivery of industry standard automation and performance testing frameworks, providing quick and efficient of test execution.
- Active engagement in defining high quality user requirements using a range of static testing techniques.
- Familiar with SAP Cloud terminology, Fiori navigations & BI Reporting.
- Definition of standards across all disciplines of testing in scope.
- Excellent understanding of mapping business processes to SAP S4/HANA Cloud Best Practice functionality.
- Providing Real Time, daily and weekly reporting on test progress including delivery of dashboard reporting covering KPI's and SLA's.
- Managing the cutover plan and implementation working with other workstream leads to deliver successful delivery of the end solution.
- Work with the S/4 Project Manager to deliver and execute a robust cut-over/deployment plan across UK/European sites

- Excellent stakeholder management skills via solid governance, change control & commercials capability.
- Ability to build excellent relationships with client stakeholders ensuring test progress/status is clearly provided via a defined communication plan.
- Strong requirement scoping, estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to root cause application issues and identify remedial actions.
- Ability to advocate best practice and compliance when constructing manual, automation and performance testing frameworks
- Ensure client satisfaction is at the heart of what you do through efficiency & team work
Qualifications and Experience
- Multiple program in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Implementations and/or SAP Business Suite on HANA with proven delivery of the test function.
- Extensive experience of industry/consulting test management experience within several different SAP Implementations.
- Hands-on full life cycle SAP program level testing experience.
- Broad understanding of SAP processes including Finance (Phase 1) and then (Phase 2) Order to Cash, Pay to Procure, Oil & Gas (Upstream/Operations, Logistics, Record to Report.
- Good understanding of SAP S4/HANA Digital Core modules testing
- Proven experience in delivering UAT/cutover plans on a range of SAP programs. Has been the primary single point of contact while execution SAP cut-overs.
- ISEB/ISTQB qualified.
- Demonstrate Test Manager experience of 1 full life cycle Global rollout of SAP S4/HANA Cloud. (Greenfield Implementation)
