Project Engineer (assembly) - West Midlands
Amoria Bond are looking for an Assembly Engineer experience initially on a 6 month contract.
Our client is a large manufacturer within the automotive industry. The successful Assembly Engineer will provide technical capability for development, production and quality of automotive parts and systems.
My client specialise in BIW, structures and chassis components in the automotive industry.
The successful Assembly Engineer will provide design feasibility, manage project costs and timings, look at process assembly, as well as liaising with customers and suppliers.
Reporting into the Assembly Manager and Programme management team, the Successful Assembly Engineer will be responsible for process assembly, MIG welding and special equipment feasibility.
Suitable Assembly Engineer's should demonstrate examples of confirming specifications for performance, quality, durability and fault finding of automotive components. Additionally the successful NPI Project Engineer should show their ability to self manage and demonstrate a track record of project control.
Essential Skills:
* NPI (new product introduction)
* Background in mechanical or automotive engineering
* Process & Assembly Experience
* BIW, chassis or structural parts
Desirable Skills:
* Tier 1/OEM automotive experience
* Manufacturing or plant experience
The contracts are initially 6 months but are likely to be extended depending upon performance and workload. The agreed rate per hour is negotiable and Dependent on level of experience.
