Description

IMPORTANT: This role will be based on-site in Knutsford from Day 1. Submitted candidates must be ok with being on site from the start of the contract.

Thinks outside of the box to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives rather than just responding to a pre-defined request.

Able to take ownership and make decisions on the appropriate architecture and technology strategy

Ability to define the problem, challenge or opportunity. Generating an array of possible solutions
Strong analytical ability, solves complex problems creatively and effectively, and proactively maintains specialist skills and knowledge.

Experience of producing detailed technical designs
Ability to analyse requirements, identify gaps and anomalies and trace through a design
Visio and other office tools
Production of technical designs for build and test teams
Validate requirements and discuss with product and business owners
Work with other bank teams and external suppliers to understand the full E2E solution
Present complex technical ideas for discussion both within the team and to wider audiences
Participate in impact assessments for new work
Support the build and test teams during developments and attend defect meetings
Knowledge of financial services
Understanding of payment technologies
Understanding of Client Server architectures
Understanding of common development methodologies such as waterfall and agile
Understanding of cloud
