IT Cyber Security Operations Lead/IT Cyber Security/SPLUNK/MSSP/Data Loss
Duration: 5-month contract
Location: Birmingham (remote work if necessary)
An international IT Service Provider is looking for an experienced IT Cyber Security Operations Lead to join their expanding Cyber Security team within the IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, evolution and implementation of an innovative Security Operations that mitigate security risks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cyber security safeguards
- Provide technical expertise with triaging high priority security incidents
- Provide input and direction to the Cyber Security Strategy
- Security Operations Centre (SoC) implementation
- Threat management and Security Critical Incident Response Lead
- Key stakeholder management
- Improvement with day to day security operations
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with SPLUNK
- Experience with MSSP and Data loss
- Extensive experience in leading a security operations team
- Excellent incident management skills
- Experience with Penetration testing
- Ability to implement key security operations services as well as processes
