Content Curator
Duration: 3 months initially
Rate: £200 - £230/day
Location: Remote/London
I am looking for a Content Curator to join a rapidly expanding team at a very well-known social media platform.
They are looking for someone with an excellent grasp what sort of content Gen Z users want to see.
The role will involve identifying trends and popular themes and identifying users who they think are up and coming and will be potential future stars of the platform.
Ideally applicants will come from a social/digital background with excellent platform knowledge.
They are looking for people with a proven ability to identify trends - as they're happening or ahead of the curve. A background in social media, community management or content creation is a plus
The role will be primarily working from Mon - Fri but there will be occasional weekend work.
The role will include:
- Review and curate video content and playlists
- Define and execute processes to support curation operations
- Identify online trends and personalities, including emerging memes and cultural conversations
- Capture and highlight the best content from wide range of topics, including pop culture, celebrities, comedy, and music
- Identify storytelling, narrative, characters, and the qualities that make entertainment interesting
Required skills/experience:
- 2+ years' experience on digital video content production, editorial/publishing, or creator/influencer talent
- BA/BS degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent content and social media experience
- Experience in social media
