My client is a leading Public sector organization based in Birmingham with a current requirement to recruit a Technical Solutions Architect for a 12 month period.
The Technical Solutions Architect will act as the conduit between the technology teams and the business units and
Meet with the IT Managers within the organization to determine the current and future needs. This could be an On-prem or cloud based solution
Determine whether the current system can be upgraded or if a new system needs to be installed.
Providing design ideas and schematics.
Project manage the design and implementation of the system.
Meet with the software developers to discuss the system software needs.
Troubleshoot systems issues as they arise.
Oversee all the moving parts of the system integration.
Measure the performance of the upgraded or newly installed system.
To be considered for the role of Technical Solutions Architect, you will have the following experience
Previous work experience as a Technical/Solutions Architect.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration.
Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, and Office software.
Advanced project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications.
Ability to problem solve complex IT issues.
Technologies will include MS azure, VMware, Networks
Experience of Infrastructure as code/devops type background
Ideally have experience of Higher Education or large complex Public Sector organisations.
