SAP APO Consultant - UK remote
Maxegan Recruitment are currently seeking a SAP APO Consultant for an exciting remote opportunity for a leading global client, for an initial 6 month contract.
Within the role, you will work within a highly skilled team of Senior SAP Consultants supporting and embedding the SAP solution and processes and maintaining an effective and consistent use of Global SAP applications.
Within this SAP APO Consultant position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Global SAP APO solution to ensure it is fully and consistently adopted, as intended - including areas such as processes, workflows, security/roles, training and documentation.
- Be a custodian for the Global business processes supported by SAP to help drive consistency.
- Gather and analyse proposed changes to the SAP APO environment in order to assess the impact and priority of changes.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for agreed changes to ensure the SAP APO environment is updated correctly.
- Provide SAP APO application knowledge in relevant areas on best practices and troubleshooting techniques to help drive improvements in the solution.
- Support the development and governance of the change/release plan to ensure changes are timely and well-managed
- Provide structured input and advice to the Design Authority governance body
- Be accountable for your area
- Build the reputation of the team outside the business in the wider market
- Working within the global team remotely, building a strong virtual remote relationship
The primary skills, knowledge and experience required for this SAP APO Consultant piece of work are:
- A broad Functional knowledge and experience of SAP APO (SAP Advanced Planning & Optimisation) and DP (Demand Planning), Supply Network Planning and PP/DS
- Strong experience of implementing and supporting SAP systems
- Solid knowledge of Supply Chain processes gained through either working in a business environment or through ERP implementations
- Demonstrable Business Analysis experience within APO
- Exposure to project management
- Excellent, clear communication skills both written and verbal - ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Accountability, Prioritisation and Ownership
- Strong Stakeholder communications
