Salesforce/Vlocity Software Consultant
6 Month contract - Fully remote
MUST HAVE Vlocity and Salesforce - Recent experience
This is a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced and professional Salesforce/Vlocity Developer. You will need to be able to speak the business' language and put yourself in the end-users shoes to create a simple customer journey and experience.
The Salesforce/Vlocity Developer will have a decent level of Telco experience. This is a hands-on development role, working alongside a technical architect and two junior developers who are new to the platform.
- You would be expected to have a good understanding of source control, CI/CD pipelines with Salesforce and be able to support junior members of the team.
- A good understanding of ServiceCloud and Salesforce Communities, as well as a good understanding of the pros and cons of Salesforce, including things like governor limits.
- On the Vlocity front, you will need to have experience with Vlocity Omniscripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, CPQ and EPC.

Role requirements
The design and development of software solutions that meet current and future business needs. The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, software components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) and that existing and planned software components remain compatible.
- Advises on application of standards and methods and ensures compliance.
- Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well engineered result.
- Takes technical responsibility for all stages and/or iterations in a software development project, providing method specific technical advice and guidance to project stakeholders.
- Understand the business problems the software is addressing and creates the best solution for the problem.
- Assigns work packages, monitors performance and manages change control dynamically, to optimise productivity.
- Provides advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required.
- Takes responsibility for own and team's performance and manages change control dynamically, to optimise productivity
